Some schools have blocked access to Google Searching because students can turn off SafeSearch. Sometimes the images that come up in Google Image Search aren't kid-friendly. Schools can use Kid Safe Searching.com to teach students internet searching skills without worrying about SafeSearch being switched off. Also, Kid Safe Searching.com only displays web links, not photos from Image Search.

Not every web search result will be 100% kid-friendly, but the results are much better than just default internet searches.
